Scheduling Policies

Please take a moment to review our Rescheduling and Cancellation Policies below. These policies are applicable to all available courses we offer.

If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible!

Rescheduling Policy

Notify us more than 7 days prior to course date

No charge, please contact us via email, phone or website contact page.

Notify us between 24 hours and 7 days notice of the scheduled course date

$15 rescheduling fee applies

Less than 24 hours notice prior to course date and time

$30 rescheduling fee applies

  • Participants who have not completed the online portion of the Blended Learning (BL) course, will not be permitted to take the in-person skills session.  They will be considered absent and need to reschedule the in-person skills session, in which a $30 rescheduling fee will apply. 

  • Participants who attend an In-Person Skills Session but were unsuccessful in completing the requirements of the Instructor Skills Assessment to receive certification, will be able to schedule a second attempt within 90 days of the completion of the online course material. A second attempt Instructor Skills Assessment will incur a $55 second attempt fee.  A third attempt will not be permitted.  Please contact us for further information.

  • No Show and/ or request to reschedule after the completion of the scheduled booked class will have a $40 rescheduling fee applied.

  • HFW Safety reserves the right to cancel any class for unforeseen circumstances (such as, but not limited to, sudden illness, weather, or facility issues). In this situation, all registered participants will be invited to reschedule to a different class, at no additional cost.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests will only be processed if participant has not completed the online portion of the course. If the online portion of the course has been completed, no refund will be issued, and the opportunity to reschedule will be presented. Please see the Rescheduling fees , posted above.

Notify us more than 14 days prior to course date

Full refund provided, please contact us via email or web page.

Notify us between 8-14 days prior to course date

Partial Refund, course fee minus $20 cancellation fee will apply

Notify us between 2 and 7 days prior to course date

Partial refund, course fee minus $40 cancellation fee will apply

No refunds will be issued for request to cancel attendance to course with less than a 48 hour notification.**

  • Refunds will not be issued for participants who no show, or are absent from their scheduled booking. The participant does have the opportunity to reschedule. Please see Rescheduling Fees, posted above.

  • Refunds will not be issued for participants who were unable to complete the requirements of the class to receive certification. A second attempt is an option for a fee of $55. Second attempt must be scheduled and taken within 90 days of their completed online portion.
